Rolls-Royce Is Branching Out Into The Shanghai Contemporary Arts Scene
Rolls-Royce partners with the Rockbund Art Museum to show the Root Sequence, Mother Tongue to the public
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced a new relationship with the Rockbund Art Museum in Shanghai as a new benefactor last week. The relationship includes showcasing the art piece Root Sequence, Mother tongue, created by artist Asad Raza, at the museum for the public to view for six days. 26 living trees, which have gone to several other museums in the past, remain alive in their potted structures.
This was done as a part of the Rolls-Royce Art Programme and Rolls-Royce plans to continue the partnership by hosting this art piece in other museums around the world.
The Root Sequence, Mother Tongue piece was at the Rockbund Art Museum from September 29 to October 4.
